I’m a professional electric and upright bassist and vocalist, with decades of experience playing rock, blues, folk, and jazz, on stage and in the studio. My goal in any situation is to find the pocket and support the song.
My love of playing bass began in high school, playing in the stage band. I played in several local cover bands after high school. Not long after graduation I joined a band touring the United States. After more than two years of shows, time in the studio making demos, and several TV appearances, I settled in southern California with hopes of building a career as a studio musician. Marriage and family life shifted the focus away from a full-time career in music, but I’ve continued playing in bands and contributing to independent recording projects.
